Kiss The Earth

Walk and touch peace every moment.

Walk and touch happiness every moment.

Each step brings a fresh breeze.

Each step makes a flower bloom.

Kiss the Earth with your feet.

Bring the Earth your love and happiness.

The Earth will be safe

when we feel safe in ourselves.

Just learned this from my daily tricycle email. He's credited with being the most important modern Buddhist teacher after the Dalai Lama. Anti-war activist Vietnamese monk - reminds me a lot of Thay at Zenforest Monastery - (and Thay really just means teacher in Viet.). H coined the term engaged Buddhism - I've always felt it's important to be politikally active in the world as a Buddhist, esp. as a person who has experienced some degree of "enlightenment".
