this book ...
thank y'all very much
... my introduction to Milton Acorn
&, what a terrific way to 'get-feet-wet'
& (my) mind wrapped around many lines
/poems that 'grab' me as though I was/were
doing he writing...
particularly in the 'I've tasted My Blood' section
and in the section just before it with it s:
(Request): "Let a shy hand find your woman hair ...."
an in next section I melded into/with:
AS TRUE A LOVER'S KNOT
and I tell y'all if I were (now) 22
in-stead of (now) 72 I'd have an
other Major Poet to add to my
short-list of those I "steal" from.
Actually
