Arms of Light Rescue
The sky is silvered blue
the colour of archangels
who have gathered
with their swords of light
to split the darkness
drive Winterdark away,
the drab of days folded
as a used shroud,
spirits leaping out of rib cages
dreaming roses
love in scented bowers
troubles and sickness melted
in the sacred balm of sun’s light.
